  • Hold your smartphone steady with both hands. Avoid moving the phone while the document is being recognized or captured.
  • Place the document on a plain, dark surface.

  • Take the photo in a well-lit area without flash.

  • Angled photos are used to check the thickness of the document. Place the document on a table and adjust the phone angle so that the document fits the frame.
