In accordance with Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act Article 17, a non-resident customer cannot make a domestic fund transfer (unregistered payee) using a token via online banking or at an SMBC ATM using Cash Card.

To make a transfer in yen from your account to a domestic financial institution, please make a request at a branch or by mail.
When you make a request by mail, please download Domestic Transfer Application (Withdrawal)  and Detailed Information Confirmation Sheet on Remittance by Non-resident Customer (BY MAIL)  (one sheet per beneficiary), fill them out, and mail them to us using Address Label .

Note: If you are a foreign national not extending your "Period of Stay" because you are leaving Japan to return to your home country or to relocate to another country, we ask you to close your account.
