Yes. Foreign currency can be sent to another bank (including securities firms) by postal mail in Japan.
Please ask the beneficiary or the receiving bank which currencies can be received.

  Upon us executing the transfer, the beneficiary is to receive the funds as early as the same day, approximately in one to two days.
